About Me

Welcome to my blog! My name is Bety and I am happily married to Bubba. Together we have three beautiful children, Buddy, Chico and Mei. Buddy, our oldest, is our scholar and Mr. Fix-it-all handyman. His little brother, Chico, has a smile and dimples that will charm and melt anyone’s heart. Together, they are the dynamic dual that keeps my life interesting. Then there’s Mei Mei, our youngest who knows how to draw attention and is the performer in our house. Our hearts’ desire is to raise them up in the knowledge and admonition of our Lord. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. We serve a BIG God!

After graduating with a BA in Human Development, I went on to pursue a teaching certificate. With that, I taught public school in the elementary level for five years and devoted part of my time reaching inner city kids for Christ in California. We now reside in mother-nature’s backyard, the state of Oregon. Looking back now, I can see that God has prepared me for the biggest role of my life… and thus the birth of this blog. I am excited to share with you my journey.

When I have free time, I love photography, learn to digital scrapbook and make healthy meals for my family. We are also into juicing, green smoothies and raw foods! Thank you for stopping by!
